Sand storm in Dasht-e Lut, southern Iran. Nowruz travelers in Dasht-e Lut were waiting for the beautiful scene of sunset and I was taking my photos. All of a sudden a heavy sand storm began to blow. Everybody were running away seeking a shelter, but I tried to capture the moment with my camera, at the cost of getting covered with sand all over my body and my camera. Yet I'm glad that I managed to take this photo of that sand storm. Later in the news I heard that some 120 people had been caught in the incident and been rescued by rescuers in a four-hour operation.
